We offer three bariatric surgery procedure options...

Gastric Sleeve

This procedure is also known as a sleeve gastrectomy or vertical sleeve gastrectomy.

During the procedure, performed under general anaesthetic using laparoscopic technique, the surgeon will reduce your stomach size by around 80%, leaving what's known as a 'sleeve', restricting your food intake. Not only will you feel full faster, but the amount of hunger hormones produced in your stomach are reduced, therefore decreasing your appetite.

Gastric Bypass

Gastric bypass surgery is a type of weight-loss (bariatric) surgery that helps individuals lose weight by altering the digestive system. It involves creating a small stomach pouch and rerouting a portion of the small intestine to this pouch. This reduces the amount of food a person can eat and limits calorie and nutrient absorption, promoting weight loss. Weight loss of between 80-85% excess body weight (sometimes higher) is generally achieved.

Revisional Surgery

Bariatric revision surgery refers to a procedure performed to alter or correct a previous weight-loss surgery, such as gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, or adjustable gastric banding. It is typically considered when the initial surgery does not achieve the desired weight-loss outcomes.
